About the Artist and the Work

The use of strings and nails in Evdokia's work is linked to her interest and research on how society constraints people through written and unwritten rules. In a similar way the strings streched across a space are limiting the movements of the viewers.

In the site specific installation in LV21 she streches white wool across the ship’s metal structure in order to create a glowing net through the use of UV light, producing a sense of mapping in the space.
